Mathieu Tarantini

Mathieu Tarantini is originally from New-Caledonia, a French island off the east coast of Australia. He started training Jiu-Jitsu at The Vault in Campbellton, NB in March of 2014, and fell in love with the sport instantly.

In March of 2022, Mat was awarded his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and found his game has evolved tremendously since his early days at The Vault. He describes his style as a more calm and controlled pace with a heightened focus on MMA and self-defense in general.  
 

Having proven himself in multiple competitions, Mat is now regarded as one of the Maritimes' top dogs in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
